6 June 2023 - Australian scientists pioneering a new type of therapy, which re-engineers a patient’s own T-cells, could result in 80 per cent of cancers being curable, offering hope for even the most difficult cases.

The therapy, Carvykti, has been approved by the TGA to treat people with multiple myeloma who have not been able to combat their cancer with three previous lines of other treatments.
