14,000 new flu vaccine doses available for high needs patients
13 June 2019 - Thousands more flu vaccines will be distributed across the country after Pharmac found another supplier.
PHARMAC has already distributed nearly 1.3 million doses of the vaccine this year – the highest number to have been distributed so early in winter.
On Thursday the agency announced it will distribute an additional 14,000 doses of the influenza (flu) vaccine through New Zealand as regions reported higher-than-normal flu rates for this time of year.
