13 April 2016 - Generic drugs allow greater access to health care for all Americans.
At FDA’s Office of Generic Drugs (OGD) in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, 2015 was an important year. It was the OGD's first full year of operation after vastly expanding our office’s scope and structure. This change allowed for the office to have greater prominence and allowed for additional staff to handle a growing workload and enhance its ability to advance the safety and availability of generic drugs in the U.S.
