In line with changes in the consumer price index, the PBS co-payment and safety net amounts have been revised.  Therefore, the following changes are effective on 1 January 2015:

• The general patient co-payment will increase from $36.90 to $37.70
• The concessional co-payment will increase from $6.00 to $6.10
• The general safety net threshold will increase from $1,421.20 to $1,453.90
• The concessional safety net will increase from $360.00 to $366.00
