AMA urges pharmacy reform to deliver lower medicine prices
20 April 2023 - The AMA says it’s high time recommendations from more than a dozen expert reports and inquiries over two decades are adopted to reform anti-competitive pharmacy ownership and location laws.
The AMA has called for the scrapping of anti-competitive pharmacy location rules that have driven-up costs for consumers.
