6 January 2020 - In the lead up to December’s general election in Britain one of the main campaign issues was the National Health Service.
The Labour Party’s Jeremy Corbyn harshly criticised the Conservatives with claims that the Tories were underfunding the National Health Service (NHS), and also offering to sell off the NHS to the highest bidder, namely the Americans.
In turn, the Conservatives, led by Boris Johnson, vociferously denied they were in the business of selling off the NHS.
