Aussies struggle as health care costs skyrocket

25 September 2019 - Aussies are delaying crucial health care as a shocking new report reveals just how much more they are paying for medication, hospital visits and other needs.

Out-of-pocket medical costs have skyrocketed more than 30% in 10 years, with the average Australian now forking out $1235 a year.

Health groups are warning some Aussies are avoiding medical care because they simply can’t afford it.
