Australia secures one million Pfizer doses from Poland, with more than half destined for Sydney

15 August 2021 - Poland has come to Australia’s rescue with an extra one million Pfizer doses after the government went begging abroad in an effort to combat Sydney’s COVID-19 outbreak.

The unexpected purchase agreement with Poland has further exposed Australia’s failure to gain more vaccine doses from the US, where reported pleas for assistance have gone ignored.
