Australians with lymphoma suffer highest financial stress in the world, survey shows

15 September 2016 - New global research shows Australians battling a common and deadly cancer are in a worse financial position than patients overseas.

More than 4,000 people with lymphoma from 72 countries took part in an international survey asking them about how their lymphoma diagnosis had affected them.

One in three Australians with lymphoma said they were stressed about money, and Australians with the common blood cancer reported higher rates of depression and isolation.
