CADTH

10 September 2014 - Dr. Brian O’Rourke, President and CEO of CADTH, today announced the appointment of three new core members to the Health Technology Expert Review Panel:

  • Jenny Basran, MD, FRCPC — Internist Geriatrician and Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan
  • Leslie Anne Campbell, BScN, MSc — Adjunct Lecturer with the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia
  • Brigadier General (Retired) Hilary Jaeger, MSc, MD, CHE — former Surgeon General of the Canadian Armed Forces and National Medical Officer of Veterans Affairs Canada.

“CADTH is very proud to work with such an esteemed group of experts,” says Dr. O’Rourke. “Decisions about which medical devices, surgical procedures, and diagnostic tests to implement in our health system are extremely complex and they have far-reaching consequences for patients, clinicians, and policy-makers. The independent advice and recommendations offered by the Health Technology Expert Review Panel help ensure that these important decisions are supported by evidence.”
