Cerus Endovascular receives FDA breakthrough device designation for its Contour Neurovascular System

11 February 2021 -  Cerus Endovascular today announced that it has received breakthrough device designation from the U.S. FDA for its Contour Neurovascular System.

Indicated for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, the Contour Neurovascular System, composed of fine mesh braid, represents a unique intrasaccular advancement in the market, as it targets the neck of the aneurysm, away from the vulnerable dome.
