Changes needed to selection of PBS cancer medicines: experts

9 May 2016 - A leading cancer expert says there needs to be a change to the way cancer drugs are chosen for the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.

The ABC's Australian Story program is tonight featuring the story of 36-year-old Danielle Tindle.

She has a rare cancer, and pays thousands of dollars for each session of a treatment, which is already available to melanoma sufferers for just a fraction of that.
