11 June 2019 - An Australian surgeon has likened the treatment of neurosurgeon Dr Charlie Teo to the frenzy surrounding Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton.
Paediatric urologist Professor Paddy Dewan said the "public feeding frenzy" was "really hurting Charlie".
"It reminds me of the vilification of Lindy Chamberlain,' said Dr Dewan, a vocal critic of Australia's medical complaints system and the subject of several run-ins with health authorities over his professional behaviour.
