COVID-19 vaccine safety report (28 July 2022)

29 July 2022 - To 24 July 2022, the TGA has received 615 reports which have been assessed as likely to be myocarditis from about 42.8 million doses of Comirnaty (Pfizer) and 101 reports which have been assessed as likely to be myocarditis from about 5 million doses of Spikevax (Moderna).

To 24 July 2022, we have received about 4,230 reports from approximately 3.7 million doses of Comirnaty (Pfizer) and Spikevax (Moderna) in 12-17 year olds. The most commonly reported reactions are chest pain, headache, dizziness, nausea and fever.
