COVID-19 vaccine weekly safety report
20 May 2021 - Six additional cases of blood clots with low blood platelets have been assessed as thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome likely to be linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
When assessed using the UK case definition, four cases are confirmed and two are deemed probable thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome.
