COVID-19 vaccine weekly safety report (10 February 2022)

TGA

10 February 2022 - To 6 February 2022, the TGA has received 446 reports which have been assessed as likely to be myocarditis from about 34.2 million doses of Comirnaty (Pfizer) and 50 reports which have been assessed as likely to be myocarditis from about 3.2 million doses of Spikevax (Moderna).

No new cases of vaccine-related tyhrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome have been reported this year. However, new information on a case reported late last year in a 20-year-old woman from Queensland indicates that it now fits the criteria of probable thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome related to a second dose of Vaxzevria.
