COVID-19 vaccine weekly safety report (15 July 2021)
15 July 2021 - Seven additional cases of blood clots with low blood platelets have been assessed as thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome likely to be linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
When assessed using the United Kingdom case definition, four were confirmed and three were deemed probable thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome.
This brings the total number of cases to 83 from 5.4 million doses administered to date.
