COVID-19 vaccine weekly safety report (5 May 2022)
5 May 2022 - To 1 May 2022, the TGA has received 546 reports which have been assessed as likely to be myocarditis from about 39.6 million doses of Comirnaty (Pfizer) and 87 reports which have been assessed as likely to be myocarditis from about 4.2 million doses of Spikevax (Moderna).
No new cases of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome related to the AstraZeneca vaccine have been reported this year.
