COVID-19 vaccine weekly safety report (9 September 2021)
9 September 2021 - To 5 September 2021, approximately 21 million vaccine doses have been given in Australia – 13.1 million first doses and 7.9 million second doses.
In the last week, an additional 7 reports of blood clots and low blood platelets have been assessed as confirmed or probable thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome. None of these cases was fatal.
