Data privacy in the age of big data
19 October 2017 - European Medicines Agency hosted meeting of EU Data Protection Officers.
On 12-13 October 2017, the EMA hosted the 42nd meeting of the Data Protection NetworkExternal link icon at its premises in London.
The meeting is held twice a year in order to allow Data Protection Officers from European Union (EU) institutions, bodies and agencies to discuss and exchange knowledge on how data protection and privacy issues affect their organisations and to join efforts for closer collaboration on this topic, which is important for all EU citizens and meet the EU bodies supervisory authority, the European Data Protection Supervisor.
