Denmark joins the queue for a relocated European Medicines Agency

14 September 2016 - Denmark may consider bidding for the London-based European Medicines Agency, should the U.K. go ahead with its plans to leave the European Union, Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen said Tuesday.

Asked in parliament whether Denmark would be interested in hosting the agency, Rasmussen said: "There are two agencies located in London, one on financials and one on pharmaceuticals. Whether Denmark could come into play to host those is too early to say, but it’s something we’re looking into."
