Eisai has said that it will temporarily suspend sales of Fycompa (perampanel) in Germany as it \"is unable to accept the assessment\" from the German Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) that the epilepsy drug offers no additional benefit compared with other treatments. A company spokeswoman said that as a result of the G-BA decision, the price of Fycompa would be in line with generic drug comparators at less than 1 euro ($1.30) per dose, below the 7 euros to 8 euros ($9.20 to $10.50) that Eisai has been charging in European markets.
