10 June 2026 -  Eli Lilly Canada is pleased to announce that Verzenio (abemaciclib) is now publicly reimbursed in Québec for eligible patients living with hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer. 

Following the successful completion of a pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance negotiations in April 2026, Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec has as of 28 May  2026, added two mBC indications for Verzenio to the list of medications, in addition to the EBC indication.
