Empagliflozin for the treatment of patients with chronic heart failure with preserved or mildly reduced ejection fraction

8 February 2023 - The Department of Health and Social Care has asked NICE to produce guidance on the use of empagliflozin in the NHS in England.

Empagliflozin is not recommended for the treatment of adults with symptomatic chronic heart failure with preserved or mildly reduced ejection fraction.
