Exits from pharmaceutical benefits on 1 October 2022
8 September 2022 - Below is a compilation of the medicines in different packaging sizes which, at the companies' own request, that will be withdrawn from the medicine benefits from 1 October 2022.
- Everolimus (Afinitor) 2.5 mg, 5 mg & 10 mg tablets. Generic and parallel distribution packages remain within the benefit.
- Aprepitant (Emend) 80 mg & 125 mg capsules. Generics are still included in the benefit.
- Deferasirox (Exjade) 180 mg & 360 mg tablets. Generics are still included in the benefit.
