Fast-track flu vaccine raises hopes for quicker drugs approvals

 A global pharma company is working with the UK medicines regulator to fast-track consideration of one of its vaccines, raising the prospect that Britain can gain a post-Brexit advantage by approving drugs more quickly than the rest of Europe.

Sanofi’s vaccines division, Sanofi Pasteur, has been collaborating with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to accelerate the assessment of a new flu inoculation.
