FDA approves first oral treatment for post-partum depression
4 August 2023 - Today, the US FDA approved Zurzuvae (zuranolone), the first oral medication indicated to treat post-partum depression in adults.
Until now, treatment for post-partum depression was only available as an intavenous injection given by a health care provider in certain health care facilities.
