FDA approves first over the counter naloxone nasal spray
29 March 2023 - Agency continues to take critical steps to reduce drug overdose deaths being driven primarily by illicit opioids.
Today, the US FDA approved Narcan, 4 mg naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray for over the counter, non-prescription, use – the first naloxone product approved for use without a prescription.
