FDA approves pricey pill to treat vaginal yeast infections

2 June 2021 - Regulators OK’d a new anti-fungal treatment, but critics say it is unneeded and costs too much.

The FDA on Tuesday approved a new drug to treat a vaginal yeast infection that is especially common in women who are pregnant, using birth control pills or taking antibiotics.
