Federal government changes mean some skin cancer operations are off the table for private health funds

24 November 2016 - Plastic surgeons are angry with Federal Government changes to legislation that allows private health funds to no longer cover operations for certain forms of skin cancers.

Doctors say the changes, introduced with no consultation on November 1, will result in patients delaying or cancelling important procedures and, in some cases, will lead to death.
