Finerenone for treating chronic kidney disease in people with type 2 diabetes
17 May 2022 - The Department of Health and Social Care has asked NICE to produce guidance on the use of finerenone in the NHS in England.
The Appraisal Committee was minded not to recommend the use of finerenone as an option for treating stage 3 and 4 chronic kidney disease with albuminuria associated with type 2 diabetes in adults.
