19 August 2025 - Regulators have approved Ozempic’s use for kidney disease treatment, opening the door to new combination therapies.
Diabetes drug Ozempic – often prescribed off-label for weight loss – will soon be used in kidney disease treatment, handing its multinational developer a leg up in an increasingly crowded market of GLP-1 drugs.
