For the second time, Pfizer tries a warranty in response to concerns over high drug costs

8 August 2022 - For only the second time, Pfizer is offering a warranty for a medicine that will cover the cost for any patient or health plan if the medication fails to work, a move that expands an effort to appease concerns about high drug costs.

The newest warrant program began last month and covers Panzyga, which was approved last year in the US to treat a rare neurological disorder called chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy.
