27 January 2021 - The entire population could be vaccinated against COVID-19 in as little as 6½ months, meaning it's possible New Zealand's team of five million could be immunised by the end of the year, the government minister in charge of the COVID-19 response says.
However, the announcement by Chris Hipkins comes as the medical director of the Royal College of General Practitioners warns that COVID-19 vaccine production issues will affect New Zealand.
