Government to introduce new law for vaccine after legal challenge
19 May 2021 - The Government will introduce legislation on Wednesday to ensure the COVID-19 vaccination programme can continue, after a High Court decision called into question the legislation under which the vaccine was approved.
The legal snafu has shone a light on the legislation governing New Zealand's medicines approvals.
