5 December 2016 - British pharmaceutical giant GSK’s Australia head, Anne Belcher, has called for long-term consistent government policy as she warns that globally, pressure from regulators and stakeholders is increasing.

Ms Belcher, who stepped into the top Australian gig in September, said the company looked for regulatory consistency to sustain its investments in innovation into the future.

“We aren’t unrealistic; we understand the government can’t fund everything but there needs to be robust, mature, discussions because ultimately we are all looking to achieve the same thing for patients,” she said.
