Health Canada approves Opdivo (nivolumab) with chemotherapy as neo-adjuvant treatment for adult patients with resectable non-small-cell lung cancer

23 August 2022 - First and only immunotherapy-based treatment for use before surgery for non-small-cell lung cancer in Canada.

Today, Bristol Myers Squibb Canada announced Health Canada's approval of Opdivo (nivolumab) 360 mg (injection for intravenous use) in combination with platinum-doublet chemotherapy every three weeks for three cycles for adult patients with resectable (tumours ≥4 cm or node positive) non-small-cell lung cancer in the neo-adjuvant setting.
