ICER publishes evidence report on medication for smoking cessation
11 December 2025 - Cytisinicline is effective for smoking cessation; a 12 week course of cytisinicline would be cost effective if priced between $1,700 and $2,400.
The ICER today posted its revised evidence report assessing the comparative clinical effectiveness and value of cytisinicline (Achieve Life Sciences) for smoking cessation. Our primary comparison was with the smoking cessation drug varenicline.
