24 April 2024 - The Department of Health and Social Care has asked NICE to produce guidance on the use of idebenone in the NHS in England.

Idebenone is not recommended for the treatment of patients with 12 years and older with visual impairment associated with Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy.
