4 November 2021 - Congress is considering legislation that would set limits on drug prices through price negotiation for certain high-cost, sole-source drugs and through rebates for drug price increases that exceed general inflation rates. 

One of the issues in the policy debate is whether these price limits should be applied to everyone, including people covered by commercial health plans and self-insured employers, or just to Medicare beneficiaries.
