Biden describes his health reform plan as “building on the Affordable Care Act.” And if taxpayer spending is a guide, Biden’s plan would do just that: at a ten-year cost his campaign estimates as $750 billion. Biden’s plan would keep all of the regulations that have driven Obamacare’s premiums skyward, and make up for them by increasing federal subsidies to Obamacare enrolees.
