Major breast cancer treatment cost slashed under new PBS listing
28 September 2025 - Thousands of women will pay significantly less for treatment after the Federal Government listed a leading breast cancer drug on the PBS.
Today, Health Minister Mark Butler will announce Truqap – which is used to treat locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer that cannot be removed by surgery – will be on the PBS from October 1.
