29 September 2015 - The European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) Management Board will meet on Thursday 1 October for an extraordinary session. It is foreseen that the Board will nominate an Executive Director for the Agency from a shortlist of candidates provided by the European Commission, which is running the selection procedure.

Following the meeting, EMA will publish a press release, as well as a photo and biography of the nominated candidate.
