March 2017 PBS Schedule
15 February 2017 - In October and November 2016 the Department notified software vendors, pharmaceutical representative bodies and other stakeholders of the intention to pause the Schedule of Pharmaceutical Benefits (the Schedule) in March 2017.
The purpose of this pause is to assist in a major system upgrade. Pauses to the Schedule have occurred in the past to implement major system upgrades.
As a result of this decision, the full set of files and outputs will not be produced for the March 2017 Schedule and the February 2017 Schedule will remain effective until the April 2017 Schedule is published.
