Method paper: new version 6.1 comes into force
24 January 2022 - The innovations concern, among other things, the procedure for evidence searches for medical guidelines. New concept of implied effects is applied.
The Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care has revised its general methods and published version 6.1 on its website.
The document is now the basis for the scientific work of the institute and its external experts as well as for the cooperation with the clients. Among other things, the additions to the evidence search for medical guidelines and a method for determining the extent of continuous data are new. In addition, the Institute now relies on the new concept of implied effects.
