MHRA approvals for Comirnaty (Pfizer/BioNTech) and Nuvaxovid (Novavax) COVID-19 vaccines
10 February 2024 - Approval of a change to the licence of Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine will enable thawing and re-labelling of the vaccine outside of the NHS.
The MHRA has approved a change to the licence of the Comirnaty Omicron XBB.1.5 30 micrograms/dose (single-dose vials) after it was found to meet the UK regulator’s standards of safety, quality and effectiveness.
