More patients have access to medicines within the high-cost protection system
2 June 2020 - From today, patients who pick up prescription drugs at pharmacies will be able to switch to an equivalent drug included in the high-cost protection, even if the drug on the prescription is not included in the high-cost protection.
In an interim report, TLV has analyzed, among other things, how the new regulations will affect the regions and patients financially.
The analysis shows that the exchange means that patients can save a total of SEK 103 million.
