Multiple countries pause AstraZeneca vaccine use

16 March 2021 - Germany, France and Italy are the latest countries to have suspended the AstraZeneca vaccine over blood clotting fears, as the UK vows the jab is safe.

The World Health Organisation chief said the agency’s vaccine safety experts would meet onTuesday to discuss the AstraZeneca jab after a number of countries halted its use over blood clot fears.
