New Zealanders to benefit from partnership to enhance responsible use of medicines

PHARMAC

27 October 2016 - PHARMAC is pleased to announce a new partnership to support prescribing decisions and promote the responsible use of medicines, says PHARMAC Deputy Medical Director, Dr Bryan Betty.

The partnership with BPACnz and the Goodfellow Unit of Auckland University will provide healthcare professionals with high-quality clinical information to enhance patient care – and will do so in new and innovative ways.

“This new partnership builds on PHARMAC’s work to improve medicines use, seeking to ensure medicines aren’t overused, underused or misused,” says Dr Betty.
