9 January 2019 - The Department of Health and Social Care has asked the NICE to produce guidance on the use of darvadstrocel in the NHS in England for treatment of patients with complex perianal fistulas in Crohn’s disease.
Darvadstrocel is not recommended by NICE, within its marketing authorisation, for previously treated complex perianal fistulas in adults with non-active or mildly active luminal Crohn's disease.
The cost-effectiveness estimates are highly uncertain and the committee was unable to decide on the most plausible cost-effectiveness estimate.
